Two full weeks of workshops, panels, talks, film screenings, evening events at Kühlhaus or our partner institutions and many more. Mentoring, location scouting and tutoring for holders of scholarships.
Catering and non-alcoholic beverages, accommodation on the camping ground of Kühlhaus Görlitz.
Our fabulous kitchen team will take care of your physical well-being during the two weeks. The products used are regional and some come from organic farms in the area. We cook vegetarian or vegan meals - if you fancy non-vegetarian food, We sometimes also barbecue and everyone simply brings their favorite add-ons with them.
02 SLEEPING
We offer all participants the opportunity to use the camping area of the Kühlhaus for the indicated price - either in their own tent or camper. Bungalows or hotels in the vicinity are available and must be booked independently.

We are a diverse team from Görlitz and the surrounding area and from everywhere - it doesn't matter to us what color your skin is, what nationality or religion you belong to or what gender you are. We see ourselves as people and we are happy if you see it the same way ;)
KÜHLHAUS GÖRLITZ
As a socio-cultural creative location between Lake Berzdorf and the urban area of Görlitz/Zgorzelec,
Kühlhaus suits our plans perfectly. Over the past decade, the former GDR supply depot has been developed by ambitious cultural workers from the region into a unique event and cultural venue.
In addition to various studio and seminar rooms and a large „machine hall“, there is a spacious campsite with a large meadow, as well as bungalows and studio houses. But, above all, there is plenty of space for deep and exciting encounters.

NINA + TEAM
are a great inspiration and do things a little different:
Nina is professionally involved with food. As food, its processing and combinations are her thing, but daily kitchen work is not, she mainly cooks at retreats or events and of course for friends. As part of the cooking team, she also prepares lunches for the participants during the Academy. Her favorite meal.
LOCAL PARTNERS
Craft beer with local roots and global mind. While brewing amazing beer and serving it in their cozy pub in the city center of Görlitz, the owners also support local social and cultural events. Cheers to you!

Thanks to Brotschmiede we can taste the region through freshly ground flour and sourdough bread from the traditional wood oven! Raising sourdough is like raising strong communities – it might look like more effort but in the end its not… Thank you for supporting us and also the local circular economy. If you are interested to watch the whole bread baking process with a beautiful show bakery in the old town of Görlitz.

The community supported agriculture farm is not only providing us generously with crop surplus but also offered their farm as a scenic location for a film shooting in 2021. Thank you so much, we are happy to have you on board!

MAŁY RYNEK ZGORZELEC
Apart from that we go to the food market in Zgorzelec, where we have our favorite grandma selling her veggies to us. What is still missing needs to be bought at the supermarket.
